OB OVERVIEW:

We are looking for a creative and driven Social Media Manager and Content Creator to join our marketing team. You will be responsible for creating engaging and original content, managing our brand’s social media channels, and executing strategies to drive audience growth and engagement. You will play a key role in building our online presence and fostering a community that supports our brand’s mission and vision.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience as a Social Media Manager, Content Creator, or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.) and their best practices.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in content creation tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Final Cut Pro, etc.).
  • Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social).
  • Understanding of social media analytics and how to apply insights to strategy.
  • Creative, out-of-the-box thinker with the ability to generate unique and engaging content ideas.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A portfolio showcasing previous content creation and social media campaigns is a plus.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in paid social media advertising and campaign management.
  • Photography and videography skills.
  • Basic knowledge of SEO and how it relates to social media content.
  • Knowledge of influencer marketing and collaborations.

Responsibilities
  • Social Media Strategy:

Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and traffic across all platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube.

  • Content Creation:

Produce high-quality content including posts, graphics, videos, blogs, stories, reels, and more. Ensure content is aligned with brand voice and goals.

  • Community Engagement:

Monitor and engage with the online community (comments, messages, mentions) in a timely, positive, and professional manner to build relationships and foster brand loyalty.

  • Analytics and Reporting:

Track, measure, and report on social media performance using analytics tools. Use data to adjust strategies and improve content engagement.

  • Content Calendar Management:

Plan, create, and manage a social media content calendar to ensure timely and consistent posts across platforms.

  • Trend Monitoring:

Stay up-to-date on social media trends, tools, best practices, and competitor activity. Proactively incorporate new ideas and trends into content creation.

  • Campaign Management:

Assist with the planning and execution of paid social media campaigns, collaborating with internal teams to optimize campaign performance.

  • Brand Consistency:

Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in style, quality, and tone, and adheres to any brand guidelines or marketing strategies.

  • Collaboration:

Work with other departments, including marketing, product, and design teams, to develop cohesive content strategies that support business objectives.
