Our ideal candidate is a passionate, forward-thinking, and organized communicator who is well-versed in the worlds of physical game products, independent games, and social media/digital marketing. You will be responsible for developing and implementing content strategies, managing day-to-day activities, growing our online presence, engaging with our community, and driving measurable business results through social media channels.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
• 3+ years of social media strategy and community management experience
• Proven success growing and managing social media accounts for a brand or business.
• Creative mindset with strong visual and storytelling skills.
• Comfortable representing the brand in short-form online video
• Depth of understanding of video games, specifically independent games, and the business and communities surrounding them.
• Experience with social media tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, Later).
• Familiarity with analytics platforms (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, TikTok Analytics
• Knowledge of social media advertising platforms and campaign management.
• Ability to independently manage multiple concurrent projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
• Experience collaborating successfully with internal & external teams and partners.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

The successful candidate must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation. This is a full time, exempt position with a
projected salary range of $70,000- $80,000 per year. Final offers are based on several factors such as experience level, education, skills, and internal pay equity..
Hours are 9a - 5:30p, Monday - Friday, with occasional work outside of business hours including weekends. The position is hybrid at our offices in Highland Park.

• Develop and Execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with business goals.
• Create, curate, and manage high-quality content (images, video, copy) across all platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest).
• Monitor, listen, and engage with the social media communitydaily, helping followers feel loved and connected!
• Respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner, proactively address common questions, and manage critical communications across official channels.
• Collaborate with Brand, PR, and Product teams to support campaigns and initiatives.
• Manage a content calendar & ensure consistent brand messaging by working with Brand to make sure our social media initiatives are on point and aligned with our marketing efforts.
• Analyze and report on social media metrics, optimizing our campaigns for maximum impact and engagement.
• Prepare monthly insights & reports that engage stakeholders and help inform our future strategies.
• Develop & route social media promotion plans to external partners/game publishers
• Identify opportunities for partnerships, influencer marketing, and brand collaborations.
• Stay updated on social media trends, algorithm changes,industry developments & best practices.
