As the Social Media Manager in the Consumer Engagement team in the UK you will be responsible for connecting two of the most well-known brands in the UK with a younger audience across all social platforms, with a focus on TikTok.
We launched Andrex on TikTok this year and seen some great results. Kleenex is just getting started and you will be responsible for launching their strategy. We want you to take ownership of how our brands connect with consumers on social, bringing Andrex & Kleenex to new audiences in unexpected, entertaining and useful ways. This role will have responsibility for working with an external social agency to ideate and produce all in- year content, pushing for creative excellence, measuring success, learning and optimising as you go. Our ambition is to transform how our brands communicate and we need a passionate social manager to drive this within our business.
You will also lead the delivery of the TikTok Shop marketing strategy which includes selecting the right creators to work with and managing the affiliate programme, liaising with the commercial team and our fulfilment partner to ensure we are delivering lower CPA’s.
Collaboration is important in this role as you will need to partner with agencies and teams within Kimberly-Clark to reach our goals and make sure the work you are doing is shared internally. You will have the freedom and autonomy to be able to work in the way you want to and have ownership of a key strategic focus for our brands. This role will report into a senior brand manager who will lead the strategic direction of social, social commerce and communication innovation for our UK brands.
We have flexible working but face-to-face meetings are part of our team culture and we usually spend one day a week together in our office in Surrey (in proximity to public transport)

Responsibilities

Working alongside our agency partners you will be responsible for

  • Day to day management of organic content delivery across TikTok and Instagram for Andrex and Kleenex.
  • Delivering engaging content (Including creator / influencer) that exceeds platform benchmarks and builds brand love for the brands.
  • Collaborate with Brand Managers to ensure consistency of messaging across paid media plans and all content aligns to the brand platforms.
  • Collaborating with the consumer services teams to ensure best in class community management.
  • Ownership of measurement and reporting to capture learnings and optimise the plans to exceed our targets

To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of major social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook)/ digital marketing role working on well known brands
  • Understands what content appeals to a younger audience
  • Analytical mindset to evaluate engagement rates and content performance
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other teams to get to reach your objectives
  • Proactive, can do attitude that has a desire to learn and grow
  • Enthusiastic and creative with a wide range of ideas
  • Great communication skills, proficient English speake
