Description

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and driven social media manager to join our LAB Factor team. We are looking for the right person, who isn’t afraid to get stuck in and take the lead. We are aware we still have areas we may need improvement in, so we are looking to find a new member of the team who can come in, take initiative and not be afraid to tell us how we can improve. ABOUT YOU

We are looking for someone with the following qualities:

  • Is knowledgeable about the beauty industry.
  • Has a passion for social media and driving engagement and keeps up with trends.
  • Isn’t afraid to bring ideas forward and let us know how we can continually improve.
  • Can self-direct and plan own daily tasks based on own strategies.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE:

  • Developing and implementing social media strategies to boost engagement.
  • Managing multiple platforms (IG, FB etc.)
  • Data analysing campaign performance.
  • Experience with social media management tools.
  • Strong communication and copywriting skills.
  • Solid understanding of social media trends and how these differ from social media channels.
  • An understanding of content creation for different social media channels and of social media trends.
  • Canva image and video design.

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE:

  • Budget management.
  • Managing multiple social media channels.
  • Insight into the beauty industry.

Responsibilities

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Managing the social media team and ensuring social media content is being created that aligns with the brand’s image.
  • Managing budgets to ensure the allocated ad spend is allocated strategically for the best results.
  • Working with the wider team to align campaigns with overall marketing initiatives and launches of products at a given time.
  • Analysing campaign performance - tracking key metrics and making data-driven decisions to improve results and conversion rates.
  • Run our main social media pages (FB and IG) and establish new social channels (YouTube etc.) that you believe will benefit the brand.
  • Create and execute social media strategies that align with our brand, help to build brand awareness and boost social engagement to drive sales.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest social media trends
  • Participate in the creation of social media content (reels, IG stories, posts etc) and write any copy related to this.
  • Comfortable appearing on camera and being featured in content shared on social media platforms.

DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Execute social strategies by creating content for our social media pages and channels.
  • Write copy for our socials.
  • Liaise with other members of staff and brand ambassadors in order to support wider brand efforts (e.g social media tie-ins with new product launches) and to ensure that you have the resources you need.
