Social Media Manager The Social Media Manager is a strategic and creative digital professional responsible for overseeing the companys day-to-day social media presence across multiple platforms. This role ensures that brand messaging is consistent, engaging, and aligned with U.S. social media trends and audience expectations. You will plan, execute, and optimize social content that drives engagement, increases brand awareness, and supports overall business goals. In addition, you will be responsible for monitoring real-time trends, identifying content opportunities, and adapting strategies to maximize reach and relevance. You are expected to analyze performance metrics, create reports, and recommend adjustments based on data insights to continuously improve content effectiveness. This role also requires proactive community management to build strong online relationships, foster brand loyalty, and maintain a positive brand reputation, especially during high-traffic or sensitive moments. You must have a strong understanding of platform algorithms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, X/Twitter), emerging U.S. trends, community management best practices, and data-driven content strategies. This role works closely with designers, video editors, marketing teams, and leadership to shape a cohesive social identity and produce content that performs. You should also be comfortable experimenting with new formats, A/B testing content variations, and staying updated with the competitive landscape to ensure the brand remains innovative and culturally relevant. DAILY DELIVERABLES Develop, execute, and refine the brands social media strategy across all major platforms. Conduct ongoing trend research, competitor analysis, and audience insights focused on U.S.-based behaviors. Build monthly content calendars, ensuring consistent posting and timely content delivery. Identify opportunities for viral content, collaborations, partnerships, and trend participation. Oversee ideation, briefing, and creation of social content, including posts, reels, stories, and short-form videos. Ensure that all content is on-brand, engaging, and optimized for each platform. Collaborate with video editors, designers, and copywriters to maintain a cohesive aesthetic and tone. Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and brand mentions in a timely, professional manner. Engage with audience communities, influencers, and niche groups to boost visibility. Manage social listening and sentiment tracking to understand audience perception. Track key metrics (engagement rate, reach, follower growth, CTR, retention, etc.). Provide weekly and monthly performance reports with insights and actionable recommendations. A/B test content strategies and adjust based on performance trends. Work with marketing, branding, and operations to ensure consistent messaging. Support campaign launches, product promotions, and brand announcements. Coordinate execution with creative teams to meet deadlines and maintain quality. SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Multimedia, Business, Advertising, or any related field. 2–4 years of experience in social media management (brand, agency, or creator-focused). Deep familiarity with U.S. social media trends, culture, audiences, and editing styles. Proven experience managing multi-platform strategies (IG, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Facebook). Strong understanding of social analytics tools (Meta Suite, TikTok Analytics, Hootsuite, etc.). Excellent communication skills with strong grammar, tone, and caption-writing abilities. Demonstrated ability to grow accounts and improve engagement metrics. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and pivot quickly with emerging trends.
