Description

Unique Norfolk Venues is looking for a part-time Social Media Manager to oversee and maintain the online presence of our portfolio of eight wedding and event venues.
This role includes planning and publishing content across Instagram and Facebook, engaging with followers, and ensuring each venue’s identity is communicated clearly and consistently. You will collaborate closely with our internal teams and have access to high-quality visual content, with the opportunity to generate your own.
Initial venue training and site tours will be required to get a strong understanding of our brand and venues. You’ll also work with on-site staff to gather real-time content and may be required to attend occasional events to capture live stories or behind-the-scenes footage.

EXPERIENCE

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Proven experience managing multiple business Instagram and Facebook accounts
  • Strong copywriting skills with the ability to reflect different brand voices
  • Confidence using scheduling tools (e.g. Meta Business Suite, Planoly, Later)
  • Experience working with creative teams or suppliers to source imagery and video
  • Previous work in the wedding, venue, or hospitality industry is a plus
  • Familiarity with reporting and performance metrics is desirable

SKILLS & QUALITIES

  • Organised, self-motivated, and confident managing workload independently
  • Strong attention to detail in both writing and visuals
  • Basic content creation skills (e.g. Canva or equivalent)
  • Personable and professional when liaising with internal teams and couples
  • Able to adapt content tone and style across multiple venue brands
  • Aware of trends in weddings and social media best practice
  • Willingness to travel across Norfolk for training and content gathering
