DESCRIPTION:

This Job Description details the day to day established activities a SM Expert a new role to provide support for Call-Text. The successful candidate will create dynamic and engaging digital content plus working on developing all SM platforms, Facebook, Twitter, Instrgram etc for our Company. The applicant will be responsible for creating, editing, and publishing accurate and up-to-date information on all digital channels.

REQUIREMENTS/ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:

  • A third level qualification in Digital Communications/Marketing and PR or a third level qualification in a business or marketing discipline.
  • Proven organisational skills, strong verbal and written communications skills and flexibility.
  • Experience in marketing, digital marketing and copy writing in a medium size enterprise.
  • Ability to demonstrate a high level of teamwork & motivational skills and work under pressure to tight deadlines.
  • PC literate with good keyboard skills, Microsoft Office proficient & familiar with mobile devices.
  • Experience and strong skills in search engine optimisation/ marketing and pay per click marketing.
  • Strong administration and organisational skills.
  • Must be creative and client focused.

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE:

  • Supervisory management experience is an advantage.
  • A minimum of two years relevant experience.
  • Excellent content, grammar, and copywriting skills as well as an understanding of the special considerations for writing for online; ideally digital copy-writing and copyediting experience.
  • Working knowledge of website content management systems.
  • Knowledge of photo and video editing software.
  • A commitment to quality, accuracy, detail, and consistency.
  • An excellent understanding of content marketing, SEM, SEO, social media, and digital advertising.
  • An ability to work on their own initiative while also being able to work effectively and harmoniously in a team environment.
  • The ability to multitask and work at a high volume.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with all stakeholders and staff across the organisation.
  • Have a passion for digital and user experience.
Responsibilities
  • Assist in developing a social and digital media marketing strategy for the organization focusing on online marketing by defining goals, identifying target audiences, solidifying messaging, setting key targets, and outlining effective marketing initiatives.
  • Ensure the digital marketing strategy connects online and offline marketing activities.
  • Create a social media schedule, including post copy, messaging, connectors, audience details, hashtag usage, content requirements, and advertising specifics.
  • Source and work with social media influencers.
  • Manage & track online digital marketing campaigns including Google analytics, social media insights, and other analytical tools, reporting on all KPIs such as conversion, reach, and ROI.
  • Liaise with external organisations and internal organisations to gather new and relevant content to be added online and ensure that all content added is presented in an interesting and appealing manner.
  • Training and knowledge sharing of digital content with others in the organization.
  • Maintaining, updating, and increasing segmented customer databases.
  • Create and send out mail shots in a timely manner with relevant copy.
  • Conducting market research both online and face to face.
  • Liaise with online partners including digital marketing agencies and online travel agents and as necessary attend trade events.
  • Help manage marketing budget lines including Advertising, Cooperative Marketing, and Promotional Material.
  • Implementation and tracking of Service Delivery initiatives and impacts.
  • Provide excellent customer service to all customers.
