Responsibilities

GET TO KNOW THIS ROLE

The Social Media Manager leads strategic planning for our social media programs as well manages and monitors our execution and content. This position serves as the expert on social media, provides daily support for social channels and team, project manages our social content from concept to execution, and provides strategic analysis on our social media community health with optimization recommendations. This role supervises our two site specialists and is uniquely responsible for the health of our social communities and translating that into business value.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Works closely with the Director of Digital to build and implement our social strategy for the Sierra Nevada brand and our brewery sites in Mills River, NC and Chico, CA.
  • Lead, manage, develop, and provide direction to Social Media Specialists
  • Oversee community management practices looking for opportunities to seek out brand advocates and create special customer moments that lead to long-term retention and engagement.
  • Manage relationships with third-party creators and strategic oversight of our ambassador partners, ensuring amplified content aligns with brand standards, creative direction, and marketing goals.
  • Lead vendor management, creative agency scope and social representative relationships to ensure quick access to changes
  • Responsible for managing social media budget supporting paid social campaigns, contest/promotions and surprise and delight activations.
  • Research and vet emerging social platforms and trends to ensure that SNBC brands are reaching target customers through the proper platforms and taking advantage of the latest platform features and consumer trends.
  • Audit the brewery’s social media monitoring/measurement tools and research, recommend and implement enhancements as appropriate. Deliver monthly audits and quarterly reports to assess performance against benchmarks and social KPIs
