  • Proficiency with tools like Canva, CapCut, and other content creation software.
  • Strong communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration.
  • Analytical skills to interpret data and optimize social strategies.
  • Experience as a social media influencer with an independently grown following is a significant plus.
  • Can-do attitude, team-oriented mindset, and ability to work independently in a remote environment.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

We’re on the hunt for a creative and strategic Social Media Manager to join our team on a contract basis. This fully remote role is perfect for a self-starter with a deep understanding of social media platforms, content creation, and audience engagement. If you’re passionate about social trends, love creating viral content, and have experience managing ad campaigns, we’d love to hear from you.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute creative content strategies across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, and other platforms to drive engagement and growth.
  • Manage daily social media operations, including scheduling posts, writing captions, and overseeing community interactions.
  • Produce original content using tools like Canva and CapCut, and manipulate templates to align with brand aesthetics.
  • Craft captions that reflect each client’s unique brand voice.
  • Run and optimize ad campaigns on Facebook, Snapchat, TikTok, and Instagram.
  • Monitor social media trends, analyze performance metrics, and adjust strategies to improve growth and engagement.
  • Respond to client requests and feedback over email in a timely and professional manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with Canadian cultural trends and events to create locally relevant and engaging content.
