BACKGROUND…

Here at Who’s Listening we are a full-service marketing agency who specialise in a full suite of marketing services, including social media. We’ve been in business for nearly 3 years and in this period have seen some great growth, allowing us to work with a variety of businesses across lots of different sectors.
To support this, we are now looking grow our team by adding a talented and ambitious social media manager, so we can really push forward for the rest of 2025.
As a business, we all work from home, with monthly company events alongside content days to make sure that we still see each other (not just through our screens!).

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE…

We are looking for somebody to join the business that shares the hunger we do for success and growth. All of the skills and experience below will be required in order to complete the role successfully.

  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbally and written.
  • Knowledge of how social media works for businesses (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok – all channels).
  • Experienced in the Adobe Suite (PhotoShop, Illustrator, InDesign etc.) - MUST HAVE.
  • Experienced in editing video content using Premiere Pro, After Effects or equivalent - MUST HAVE.
  • Comfortable shooting content (both photography and video), using relevant equipment (provided by company) - MUST HAVE.
  • Confidence to research content ideas before making recommendations.
  • Ability to understand and interpret a tone of voice to effectively copy write/creatively write.
  • Organised, with strong attention to detail and time management.
  • Ability to multi-task and juggle various projects.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, turning work around quickly.
  • Pro-active, continually learn and develop for both personal and professional growth.
  • Self-starter, we don’t believe in micro-management.
  • Full UK driving licence to attend client meetings/content days - Required.
Responsibilities

THE ROLE IN BRIEF…

As a Social Media Manager your main responsibility will be managing the internal marketing activities for Who’s Listening.
This will primarily include creating content for our social channels, editing our podcast episodes and then writing captions/scheduling the content into social media. The strategy for the content and some of the creation will be done as a full team effort.
There will also be various opportunities to work on projects for our clients as and when time allows.

RESPONSIBLE FOR…

  • Populating the WL marketing calendar through team meetings.
  • Ensuring organised content is created, edited and approved ahead of schedule.
  • Liaising with the team to ensure any promised work is delivered on time.
  • Attending content days to film relevant content for our marketing strategy.
  • Full editing of video content to be optimised for all social channels (long form and short form).
  • Creating static graphics where required using the Adobe Suite.
  • Writing captions in our tone of voice and scheduling content.
  • Monitoring our social platforms.
  • Performing outreach on behalf of the business.
  • Maintaining accurate records of work and completing monthly reports.
  • Researching and writing blogs on behalf of the company.
