The organisation seeks a dynamic, driven and creative Social Media Marketer & Content Creator who understands the digital landscape and knows how to tell powerful stories through content, especially video.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Qualification in Marketing, or related.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in social media marketing, content creation and digital marketing.
  • Proven track record of managing and growing social media accounts (portfolio or links required).
  • Proficient in content creation tools like Canva, CapCut, Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects), or similar.
  • Strong video-first content mindset and basic video editing skills essential.
  • Understanding of social media advertising (Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, LinkedIn Ads) is an advantage.
  • Excellent copywriting and captioning skills with a knack for trend-driven tone.
  • Experience working across multiple brands or within an agency setting preferred.
Responsibilities

THE ROLE

This full-time mid-level role is perfect for someone who lives and breathes social media, is obsessed with content trends and has hands-on experience creating scroll-stopping posts, reels and short-form video. You’ll work closely with our in-house video production and digital marketing teams to plan, create and manage social content across multiple brands and industries.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Social Media Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and execute platform-specific social media strategies across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn and YouTube.
  • Plan content calendars in collaboration with the digital team and video department.
  • Ensure brand consistency, tone and aesthetic across all touchpoints.
  • Content Creation & Video-Driven Storytelling
  • Conceptualise, shoot and edit engaging video content (especially for Reels, TikTok and YouTube Shorts).
  • Create visual assets using tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite when needed.
  • Be present at client shoots and events to capture real-time content when required.

Community Management & Engagement

  • Manage and grow communities by engaging with followers, responding to messages and fostering conversations.
  • Monitor social trends, hashtags and viral moments to keep clients relevant and reactive.

Performance Tracking & Reporting

  • Use analytics tools to monitor content performance, audience insights and campaign results.
  • Provide monthly performance reports with actionable insights and recommendations.

Collaboration & Campaign Execution

  • Work closely with the video production, digital marketing and design teams.
  • Support campaign rollouts, influencer collaborations and paid media execution.
  • Bring a fresh perspective and new content ideas to every brainstorm session.
