QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • 5+ years of K-12 industry experience in ELA and related literacy programs in a K-12 classroom preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in program engagement, multimedia strategy, or video production, ideally within the education or nonprofit sector
  • Proven ability to create impactful video content that enhances product adoption and supports a positive organizational culture
  • Proficiency in video editing and digital content creation, with familiarity across multiple platforms including Camtasia, Capcut, Canva, Vidyard, Audacity, iMovie, etc…
  • Expertise in social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest)
  • Strong proficiency in social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Google Analytics)
  • Ability to tell a clear and compelling story in any social medium
  • Hands-on experience with paid social campaigns, including audience targeting and retargeting strategies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for detail and creativity
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze and interpret data to drive strategy
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment

Responsibilities

ROLE SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly skilled, creative and results-oriented Social Media & Community Engagement Marketing Manager to drive our social media and community engagement strategies and execution. This is an enterprise role owning the social media strategy for all areas of the Learning Ally organization including philanthropy, schools, government relations and households. This role is critical in expanding our brand presence, fostering customer engagement, and driving customer acquisition and retention. The ideal candidate will be passionate about leveraging data, creativity, and innovation to achieve measurable business results. This role requires a deep understanding of the social voice and creative multimedia storytelling of the K12 education space. We are looking for a doer and self-starter who loves brand storytelling and is well-versed in digital content creation.
