OVERVIEW

We are seeking a creative and driven Social Media Marketing Associate to join our team full-time. This role is ideal for a professional with experience in content creation, digital marketing, and design, who is passionate about building brands and engaging online communities. The successful candidate will bring their own camera/phone equipment and be skilled in editing content with industry-standard tools.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 2–3 years of experience in social media marketing, content creation, or digital marketing.
  • Proficiency with content editing and design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, InShot, CapCut)
  • Demonstrated ability to capture high-quality visuals with your own camera equipment.
  • Strong understanding of branding, visual storytelling, and digital marketing principles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience managing multiple social media platforms and content calendars.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret social media metrics.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, creative environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Design, or a related field.
  • Experience with paid social media advertising and campaign management.
  • Familiarity with influencer marketing and community management.
    Salary - $50,000–$55,000
Responsibilities
  • Capture and produce high-quality photo and video content for social media campaigns using your own camera/phone.
  • Develop engaging and on-brand visuals for various platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, Youtube, etc.).
  • Edit content using tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom, Canva, or similar platforms
  • Design graphics and multimedia assets that align with the company’s brand identity.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop creative concepts for reels, stories, posts, and other social media formats.
  • Assist in the execution of broader marketing campaigns and brand initiatives like email marketing campaigns and physical advertisements.
  • Manage the social media content calendar and schedule posts for consistency.
  • Write compelling captions, select relevant hashtags, and ensure content is optimized for each platform.
  • Monitor and engage with the online community by responding to comments, messages, and fostering discussions.
  • Track and report on key performance metrics to inform strategy and optimize campaigns.
  • Stay up-to-date with social media trends, platform updates, and competitor activities.
  • Recommend innovative ways to enhance engagement and reach.
  • Collaborate with other colleagues to secure new marketing partnerships across the city including businesses, malls, influencers, etc.
