We are seeking a creative and driven Social Media Marketing Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for building and managing our brand’s online presence across multiple platforms, engaging our audience, and driving growth through compelling content and strategic campaigns.
Essential Job Functions
- Develop and execute a social media content calendar aligned with brand goals and seasonal campaigns.
- Create engaging written, visual, and video content tailored to each platform (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Monitor social media channels, respond to comments/messages, and foster community engagement.
- Analyze performance metrics and adjust strategies to improve reach, engagement, and conversions.
- Stay up to date with social media trends, tools, and platform updates to ensure best practices.
- Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to maintain consistent branding.
- Assist with paid advertising campaigns and influencer partnerships.
- Track ROI and prepare regular reports on campaign performance.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Good reading, written, and verbal language skills. (English)
- Ability to move and/or lift small items when needed.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, team members, and vendors.
- Proficiency with scheduling/analytics tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Later, Canva, or similar).
- Knowledge of social media advertising and audience targeting.
- Creative eye for design and understanding of brand aesthetics.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects at once.
- Friendly, approachable, and customer-service oriented demeanor.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule - 2 or more Saturdays (required)
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent (required)
- Some college or coursework in social media management or digital marketing experience. (preferred)
- 1+ year of social media management or digital marketing experience. (preferred)
- Experience in furniture, home décor, or design. (preferred)
