Hours: 22.5 hours per week with hybrid working
Reporting to: Marketing Manager
Location: Manchester (with travel expected as required)
Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 (£16,200 - £18,000 pro rata)

Responsibilities
  • Take ownership of our social media strategy across TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Facebook.
  • Create and schedule standout content showcasing student life, alumni success, and campus events.
  • Collaborate with students, staff, and marketing teams to bring authentic stories to life.
  • Manage community engagement—responding to DMs, comments, and building relationships with followers.
  • Recruit and train Student Content Ambassadors to capture life on the ground.
  • Report on performance using tools like Hootsuite, Later, or Hubspot.
  • Stay on top of social trends and youth culture, and experiment with new formats and ideas.
