                                                              Social Media Officer  Air Niugini is seeking to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced person to fill in the position of Social Media Officer within Marketing Department – based in Port Moresby Purpose   Social Media Officer will directly report to the Marketing Manager and support the development of the Marketing function of Air Niugini Limited. The incumbent will take responsibilities of all media platforms of the company from posts, response, feedback and reports contributing to the implementation of the Commercial Divisions, strategies and campaigns.  Nature and Scope The Social Media Offer exists to maintain visibility on all company social media platforms reaching the right audience through the correct media. Principle Accountabilities:    * Execute a results-driven social media strategy  * Suggest engaging content for social media platform  * Contribute in the editing of written, video, and photo content  * Attend events for live social media content where required * Maintain unified brand across different social media channels * Work with the marketing team to create a social media calendar  * Monitor social media channels for industrial trends  * Interact with users and respond to social media massage, enquires, and comments  * Review analytics and create reports on key metrics  * Assist in the development and management of social media marketing strategy Qualifications, Skills & Experience  * Diploma in Communication and Journalism or Diploma in Digital Media and advertising   * Passion for social media and skilled with major social media platforms and social media management tools  * Ability to understand historical, current and, future trends in the digital content and social media space  * Great time management skills with the ability to multitask  * Excellent communication skills – written and oral * Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines  * Proper investigative, reporting skills and a team player  Behavioural Competencies * Pleasant interpersonal skills, Motivated and well-spoken  * Sharp and alert to surrounding and expectations  * Proper dressing code and personal grooming, truthful and committed.   To apply submit the following documents, Cover Letter/CV/ Copies of Qualifications and relevant documents.
