Description

Our client European Institute Of Innovation and Technology (EIT) looks for a new colleague as
Social Media Officer
for 12 months (with possibility of extension)

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

Proven 3 years work experience as a social media manager, including at least 1 year in English.
Proven 1-year hands-on experience in social media content management and creation, including at least 1 year in English.
Advantageous
Proven 3 years work experience as a dedicated social media manager, including at least 1 year in English

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor in communications, marketing, business, EU affairs;
A level of education which corresponds to completed university studies of at least three years attested by a diploma;
Minimum of three years’ relevant experience in the field or four years in the case of completed university studies of less than four years;
Where justified in the interest of the service, professional training of an equivalent level.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Excellent level of written and spoken English (C2)

IT SKILLS:

Very good knowledge of Canva
Experience in using social media analytics tools
Good knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
Good knowledge of social media advertising

OTHER SKILLS:

Drive, proactivity and creativity
Excellent creative and strategic design skills
Creative thinking and ability to develop engaging content
Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality
Strong project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment

Responsibilities

Strengthen the EIT’s presence and engagement, especially on LinkedIn and Instagram, to increase brand visibility and engagement.
Manage and pro-actively optimise the EIT’s social media presence, ensuring branding and messaging consistency across all its channels.
Develop and execute a social media plan to grow and engage a digital audience across all relevant channels.
Responsible for content creation, scheduling, copy writing captions, ad management and community management through comments and direct messages.
Manage social media content calendar and ensure on-time execution and daily posting.
Produce engaging media content, such as videos, imagery, GIFs, etc.
Tracking and reporting on key performance metrics with statistics, learnings, and recommendations on a monthly and annual basis.
Collaborate with the rest of the team on content sourcing, campaigns and events.
