POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Social Media Patient Relations Officer to manage and respond to all patient inquiries received through our social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp Business, etc.). The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for potential patients online, ensuring timely, professional, and compassionate communication that builds trust and converts inquiries into consultations or bookings.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in patient relations, customer service, or social media management (healthcare experience is an advantage).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic (additional languages are a plus).
  • Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, TikTok).
  • Patient-centric attitude with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and handle inquiries in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic knowledge of healthcare services and confidentiality practices.
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Respond promptly and professionally to patient inquiries, comments, and direct messages on all social media platforms.
  • Provide accurate information about hospital services, doctors, and treatments while maintaining compliance with hospital guidelines.
  • Coordinate with the Patient Relations and Marketing teams to ensure leads are followed up and converted into appointments.
  • Keep a daily record of all inquiries, follow-ups, and patient interactions.
  • Escalate complex medical inquiries to the appropriate department or physician.
  • Support social media engagement by fostering a positive and caring online community.
  • Ensure a consistent and empathetic brand voice across all communications.
  • Work with the Marketing team to provide insights into common patient questions and suggest content improvements.
