JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a highly experienced Social Media & PR Manager, working directly under our newly recruited overall Digital Marketing Manager, to lead our brand’s digital presence and media strategy. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of Meta platforms (Facebook, Instagram), TikTok, YouTube, and PR with strong media and journalist connections.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 3+ years’ experience in a social media management and/or PR management role
  • Proven track record in Meta Ads, Instagram Reels, TikTok campaigns, and YouTube growth
  • Strong copywriting, content planning, and visual storytelling skills
  • Solid PR experience with media contacts in place (regional and/or national) - UK market only
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a structured team
  • Based in or able to travel regularly to Birmingham

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Experience using tools like Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Later, or similar
  • Background in influencer marketing or brand partnerships
  • Knowledge of basic video editing and graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe suite, etc.)
Responsibilities
  • Work with the Digital Marketing Manager to plan, create, and manage content across Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and other relevant platforms
  • Develop and implement paid and organic social media strategies to grow audience and engagement
  • Monitor analytics and report on performance, using insights to optimise campaigns
  • Build and manage relationships with influencers, media outlets, and journalists
  • Write and distribute press releases and manage press outreach
  • Attend events and represent the brand at key PR and networking opportunities
  • Stay up to date with digital trends, platform changes, and competitor activity
