Description:

Hello! Canada is seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Producer and Strategist to join our Toronto based digital media team. This role is crucial for driving our social media presence, creating engaging content, and growing our audience across various platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social media strategy, content production, and a deep understanding of the digital landscape, particularly in creating compelling video content for platforms like TikTok and Instagram Reels.

You are a creative thinker with a deep passion for all things royal, celebrity, entertainment, and style, always staying ahead of trends and eager to experiment with new content formats. With strong communication skills and a keen eye for detail, you excel at producing and editing engaging social and video. Highly organized and adaptable, you thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects while turning data-driven insights into compelling strategies that resonate with a diverse audience. Collaborative and resourceful, you enjoy working as part of a team but are equally comfortable taking initiative and leading projects on your own.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in social media management, content production, or digital marketing, preferably in media or entertainment.
  • Proven experience creating and editing video content for social platforms, particularly TikTok and Instagram Reels.
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
  • Strong knowledge of social media analytic and publishing tools.
  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with graphic design tools such as Canva or Photoshop
  • Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas that resonate with a diverse audience.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment within a small but mighty team of editors and creative professionals, managing multiple projects simultaneously and tight deadlines throughout the day.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • An in-depth knowledge (and love) of celebrity and royal content,

    with a keen eye and pulse for trends and audience preferences.

  • Knowledge of website content management systems and newsletter platforms such as Sailthru and Campaign Monitor

  • Exceptional communication skills, time management, creativity, problem solving skills and critical thinking
