Job Description What you’ll do: Joining the carsales Audience Development team, the Social Media Specialist will help grow our presence across Meta (Facebook & Instagram) and YouTube. A hands-on role in creating platform-first content, building engaged communities, and supporting broader brand and business goals. Plan, produce and publish content that drives engagement and builds community. Collaborate with creative, editorial and production teams to deliver content tailored to each platform. Monitor performance and share insights to guide ongoing strategy and experimentation. Manage scheduling, publishing and reporting across Meta and YouTube. Engage with our audiences using an inclusive, trusted and responsive voice. Qualifications What are we looking for? We’re seeking someone who brings creativity, curiosity and care to building Carsales’ social presence. You’re collaborative, proactive and passionate about digital storytelling. Demonstrated experience in social media content creation, publishing and optimisation, with a focus on Meta and YouTube. Ability to design and implement platform-first strategies that foster engagement and community connection. Confidence to plan, produce and evolve content in response to trends and opportunities. Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset, aligned with our values: we change the game, we own it, we step in, we are curious, and we don’t take ourselves too seriously. Capacity to work closely with peers across creative, editorial and audience development teams to achieve shared goals.
