JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a dynamic and tech-savvy Social Media Specialist to manage and enhance our brand presence across digital platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the IT industry, emerging trends, and best practices for engaging a tech-focused audience. You will be responsible for content creation, campaign execution, analytics tracking, and community engagement to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, IT, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in social media management, preferably within the IT or tech industry.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies, SEO, and content marketing.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Buffer, etc.).
  • Experience with analytics tools (Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, LinkedIn Analytics, etc.).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a creative mindset.
  • Ability to translate complex IT topics into engaging and easily digestible content.
  • Knowledge of IT trends, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and enterprise technology is a plus.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with paid social media advertising and campaign optimization.
Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies tailored to the IT industry.
  • Create, curate, and publish engaging content (text, images, videos, and infographics) across various platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, etc.).
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product, sales, and IT experts) to develop relevant and informative content.
  • Monitor social media trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities to optimize strategy and engagement.
  • Engage with the online community by responding to comments, messages, and discussions in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage paid social media campaigns, optimizing ad performance and budget allocation.
  • Analyze and report on key performance metrics (engagement, reach, conversion rates, etc.), providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Ensure brand consistency in messaging, tone, and visual identity across all platforms.
  • Stay updated on IT industry news, innovations, and key influencers to identify opportunities for collaboration and thought leadership.
  • Assist in crisis management and reputation monitoring on social media platforms.
