Currently, our audio and video podcasts generate over 45 million listens and views each month. Locked On is looking for our lead Social Media Specialist to execute our large-scale social media strategies, campaigns, and activities. We are looking for a skilled graphic designer and social media content producer with a history of producing high-quality social media content at scale as well as posting and optimizing content for maximum reach, engagement, and virality. This person needs to be skilled at producing both graphics and video posts. They will be heavily involved developing the materials our hosts will use to execute their own social media activities and play a key role in teaching and coaching our hosts on the best practices for success. Our Social Media Producer will also create and run social media channels and pages at scale and manage social media access to these accounts with our hosts. Responsibilities: Posting daily national content (Locked Player of the Day, Trending News, etc.) across all of our national accounts and featured team accounts Monitoring and posting breaking news and editing/posting shorts accordingly Creating and distributing Canva Kits for existing and new hosts Creating social media channels and pages for teams, shows, leagues, and the network as needed Monitoring, updating, and distributing social media passwords to hosts using our Podio system Developing social media best practices for each different type of engagement and coaching our talent on how to implement these practices. Connecting social media accounts to Hootsuite and overseeing host invites and account creation Mocking up and producing social media designs for network-wide content (i.e. Top 100 lists, Crossover shorts, sponsor graphics, etc.) Contributing to website maintenance, including updating homepage banners, images, trending shows, adding new shows and hosts (Bios/Headshots/Logos) Producing a social media newsletter sent to hosts to encourage and facilitate use of social media and best practices Requirements: All major social media platforms; creating long- and short-form content and posting on YouTube; Adobe Creative Suite; Canva; Hootsuite; Microsoft 365 Suite; Google Drive and Workspace Tools. Emerging AI platforms to improve efficiency, output, and workflows. Deep knowledge and interest in sports, especially the NBA, NFL, MLB, NHL, and college sports, is essential.
