America’s favorite candy company is seeking a Social Media Analyst with experience in videography, photography, and content creation to join our Chicago Operations team. If you have a degree in videography, photography, digital media, or a related field and are eager to bring your creative energy to a dynamic social media team, this role is for you!

SUMMARY

The Social Media Analyst will play a key role in creating engaging digital content, with a strong focus on video production for platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and other social channels. This individual must be enthusiastic, energetic, and highly creative, with the ability to brainstorm, shoot, edit, and produce compelling video content that aligns with our brand. Social media management experience is a plus, but a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced digital landscape is just as important.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Videography, Photography, Digital Media, or related field or equivalent years of experience in similar field.
• Strong videography and photography skills with a creative storytelling approach.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Experience in social media content creation, video editing, and post-production.
• Enthusiasm for brainstorming and executing video concepts that engage audiences on TikTok and other platforms.
• Basic knowledge of social media management, analytics, and advertising is a plus.
• A passion for candy, creativity, and engaging storytelling!

• Create high-quality video and photo content for social media using professional equipment and editing software.
• Brainstorm and execute creative TikTok and Reels ideas, keeping up with trends and platform best practices.
• Edit and produce short-form video content using tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and other industry-standard software.
• Capture engaging behind-the-scenes, lifestyle, and promotional content to showcase Tootsie Roll’s brand personality.
• Work closely with team members to develop and execute social media campaigns that highlight our products.
• Monitor all brand pages and community interactions, responding in a timely and brand-appropriate manner.
• Assist in creating graphics, photography, and video elements using Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
• Develop engaging giveaways, promotional campaigns, and email marketing content.
• Maintain Tootsie.com, ensuring fresh and relevant content, including QR code web pages for each product.
• Stay up to date with social media trends, tools, and platform updates to keep our content fresh and competitive.
• Utilize platform analytics and reporting tools to evaluate campaign performance and optimize strategies.
