SUMMARY

We are looking for an early-career Social Media Strategist to join our team. You will be responsible for planning, developing, and executing organic social media content to increase brand awareness and engagement.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Instagram and TikTok features, best practices, and trends. You will also work cross-functionally with team members to develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • At least 1+ year of informal (personal account) experience in social media marketing, with a focus on Instagram and TikTok.
  • A solid understanding of Instagram and TikTok features, best practices, and trends, with the ability to produce or curate content that aligns with the company’s marketing strategy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders.
  • Outgoing personality; comfortable in front of the camera when needed.
  • Creativity and resourcefulness.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute Instagram and TikTok marketing strategies that align with the company’s overall marketing goals.
  • Create and manage Instagram and TikTok content calendars.
  • Design and copywrite effective content that appeals to our key customer personas.
  • Analyse Instagram and TikTok analytics to track performance and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date on Instagram and TikTok features, best practices, and trends.
  • Assist in developing and executing marketing strategies that align with the company’s overall goals.
  • Manage daily administrative/project management tasks to support the Marketing department.
