We invite applications for the 2025/2026 school year at St. Anne’s School as a Social Science and English teacher reporting to the Assistant Head of School, Director of Upper School. This position will begin in late August.
The school seeks an exceptional educator to teach Social Science subjects and English at the Middle and Upper School levels. The individual in this role will collaborate with colleagues to ensure program excellence, with an expectation of high standards of learning, student progress, and support. In consultation with members of the faculty and the Director of Academics, the Social Science teacher will be expected to prepare and deliver an innovative and inclusive curriculum, compelling instructional practices, and consistent department policy and alignment with the Growing Success criteria.
We seek applications from certified teachers holding a Bachelor of Education, with intermediate/senior social science qualifications, preferably in geography, with a second teachable in English. Candidates will bring a thorough understanding of the Ontario curriculum and the Growing Success requirements. Other key requisites of this role include demonstrated leadership and communication skills and a sustained commitment to professional growth and improvement.
