Role Description
Teacher – Social Science (Business Studies and
Commerce)
Reports to: Head of Department – Social Science
Status: Permanent full-time

The successful applicant will:

• have at least 2-3yrs experience in teaching HSC Business Studies and Commerce, with the

ability to teach Junior Geography

• create and maintain an effective and safe learning environment for students
• demonstrate effective and contemporary teaching practice which fosters student

engagement and facilitates learning within the area of Social Science/HSIE

• have appropriate tertiary qualifications and NESA accreditation
• work independently and collaboratively with other teachers
