**Paid new hire training and certifications** Job Summary: Help us find foster parents for at risk children and youth! Service Alternatives is looking for an out-going, self-motivated, energetic applicant to fill the Foster Care Licenser position in Burlington, WA. What You'll Be Doing: As a Foster Care Licenser, you would be providing high-quality service to all foster children, as well as recruiting, training, and certifying foster homes. Develop and implement a recruiting plan for foster families within the area. Interview and assess potential foster parents and members of their household. Work with Licensing Division to ensure on-going compliance with licensing requirements. Wage: $23-$24 per hour Location: Burlington  Program: 039 Shifts: Part time Trainings: Fully Provided by Service Alternatives. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in social services or a related field. * Have a clear criminal history and pass a background check. * Be at least 21 or older Preferred Qualifications: * Master's degree in social services or counseling. * Experience in maintaining a positive relationship with Licensing Division, foster children and their families. * Experience, in social services Licensing and Certifications: * Currently have or within 30 days of being hired CPR/First Aid certification (Paid by SA) * Current driver license, car, and car insurance * TB Test: Within 7 days of first day of employment, or prior to working on site (whichever comes first) (paid by SA) Service Alternatives is: We are a values-driven organization.
