Job Details Job Location: FLA-Ft Myers AC - Ft Myers, FL 33919 Position Type: Part Time with Benefits 20 or More Education Level: High School Diploma/GED Salary Range: $16.25 - $16.25 Job Shift: Day Job Category: Social Services Schedule/Hours: This position is responsible for: Provides social service assistance to eligibles clients in the following areas: food, clothing, and financial assistance. Key Responsibilities: Interviews clients to determine need and eligibility to receive services. Prepares accurate and complete client records. Refers clients to community agencies an maintains effective working relationships with the same. ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: Moderate amount of physical effort required associated with walking, standing, lifting and carrying objects (up to 40 lbs.) 25-40% of work time. Majority of work is performed in a normal office environment where there are little or no physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt and the like. Weekly food bank deliveries require outdoor work for 1-2 hours.
