This position is responsible for leading the development and execution of the organic social media strategy for Politix’s social channels, which include Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Twitter. The role focuses on implementing test-and-learn strategies to drive engagement, brand presence, and community growth. In addition, the position supports the digital customer service strategy across all social platforms.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Provide ongoing strategic recommendations for social media, including defining the role of each channel based on brand pillars, execution plans, analysing key metrics, and evolving strategy as needed
  • Collaborate on content creation, including writing copy, creating engaging content calendars, sourcing imagery and UGC, arranging photoshoots, and repurposing existing customer content when necessary
  • Work with content creators or influencers to create best in class content for our channels. This includes managing the relationships and any shoots
  • Implement test-and-learn strategies based on reporting insights, trialling new social media features, and adjusting tactics accordingly
  • Stay updated on industry trends and proactively lead discussions with the broader business to drive social innovation
  • Drive the development and execution of content strategy across Instagram, Facebook, Messenger, YouTube, Twitter, and other relevant social platform
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to create content, including developing briefs informed by data-driven insights
  • Deliver detailed reporting and insights on the performance of all social networks to optimise ongoing tactics and future strategies
  • Monitor and report on weekly performance, content effectiveness, campaign results, and social media listening insights.

KEY CAPABILITIES

  • Professional experience managing and executing commercial social media channel
  • Proven track record in developing and delivering successful organic social media campaigns, driving engagement and growth
  • In-depth technical knowledge of social media insights platforms and analytics tools, with the ability to track and optimise performance
  • Strong attention to detail, paired with excellent analytical skills to assess campaign success and make data-driven decisions
  • Effective time management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
