Description
We are looking for a Social Studies Teacher for an international High School based in Wuhan. This is position is avaiable with an immediate start date. About the role You will teach High School Social Studies, delivering around 25 classes per week and using the AP curriculum as your core framework. Plan and deliver engaging Social Studies lessons aligned with AP course standards Develop instructional materials and adapt learning for individual and small group needs Assess students’ academic progress, maintain accurate records, and write progress reports Communicate regularly with parents to support student growth and well-being Collaborate with school leaders and fellow teachers on planning, assessment, and student support Participate in curriculum meetings and professional development sessions Help organize and supervise school activities and events on and off campus Bachelor's degree or above At least 2 years of subject teaching experience Excellent communications skills Salary and benefits Monthly salary of 25,000 to 28,000 RMB commensurate with experience and qualifications Monthly housing allowance of 3,500 RMB per month Airfare Reimbursement Assistance with work visa from a Chinese embassy or consulate, a work permit from the PRC's Bureau of Foreign Experts Affairs and a residence permit from the Exit & Entry Administration of Public Security Bureau.
