This role requires a highly organised Social Value Lead to work within Compass’ Education sector.
The role works within Chartwells Social Value team to drive our Social Value agenda across the schools within our Mitie schools.
The role is responsible for managing and executing the Social Value Action Plan for Chartwells across 235 primary and secondary schools in the Mitie contract. Working alongside the central Chartwells Social Value Team (owners of the sectors’ emerging Social Value Action Plan 2025), this role will be the driving force behind the execution of key projects within the schools. Our Chartwells Social Value Action Plan is rooted in the organisation’s three promises – Our Social, Climate and Wellbeing promises. It’s a pivotal moment in time; and this role will contribute to the operational translation of commitments across Mitie schools so that practical, sustainable change is implemented to business as usual. The role will also work very closely with the Operations Teams in the Mitie schools and liaise directly with the onsite catering teams, academics at each school, and the Senior Leadership Team at the schools.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, and a passion for engaging stakeholders to drive change.
