Description

Egypt Education Platform is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our team at Madinaty Language School. The Social Worker will play a critical role in promoting the emotional, social, and academic well-being of our students by providing support and resources to both students and their families. Key Responsibilities: Provide counseling and support to students experiencing emotional, behavioral, or social challenges. Conduct assessments to identify students' needs and develop appropriate intervention strategies. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to create a supportive and inclusive school environment. Facilitate communication between students, families, and school staff to address any concerns or challenges. Plan and implement programs that promote social-emotional learning and well-being. Assist students in developing coping strategies and problem-solving skills. Maintain accurate and confidential records of student interactions and interventions. Work with external agencies and resources to support students and families in need. Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred. A minimum of 3 years' experience working with children and families in educational or community settings. Strong understanding of child development, mental health issues, and relevant social services. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with students and families. Ability to work collaboratively within a team and maintain a student-centered approach. Knowledge of current best practices in social work and counseling within educational environments. The successful candidate will show a solid commitment to safeguarding student welfare and promoting a nurturing environment.
