DESIGNATION : Social Worker (Family Service Centre - Admiralty)

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree in Social Work or Graduate Diploma in Social Work or Equivalent qualification from a recognised University
  • Bilingual in English and any other language (Malay/Chinese/Tamil) to communicate with the clients and stakeholders,
  • A good team player
  • Should have good written and interpersonal skills
  • Passion to serve and to work with youths and their families
  • Conduct home visitations
  • Should be able to manage 25 average active cases
  • Ability to to work under stress and pressureAble to work as per demand of the hours, inclusive of weekends, when handling crisis situation

Social work experience and Degree in Social Worker or equivalent

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conducts casework and manages case consultations
  • Networks and partners with relevant stakeholders and organizations
  • Volunteer management and providing supervision for volunteers and interns
  • Conduct analyses, develops and implements programmes and services to meet the needs of the community
  • Plans, executes and evaluates ongoing programmes and services
  • For Senior positions, provide clinical supervision to professional & support staff involved in casework, and responsible for the professional development of social workers
  • Any other additional projects and responsibilities may be assigned, if need be, from time to time
