DESIGNATION : Social Worker/Case Worker

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Possess Bachelor Degree In Social Work or a relevant degree in social sciences or related discipline(s) (e.g. psychology)
Responsibilities

As a Social Worker/Case Worker in the National Anti-Violence & Sexual Harassment Helpline (NAVH), you will help to attend to violence-related enquiries that come through the NAVH. You will be involved in supporting the following tasks required to right site these violence-related calls:

  • Engage caller to understand severity of situation
  • Gather and verify information with other sources (e.g. schools, family members, relatives, government databases)
  • Conduct risk and safety assessment for cases
  • Determine response time and right-siting of cases
  • Engage agencies to ensure warm transfer of cases
  • Engage key family members to work with an agency
