Responsible for performing psychosocial assessments on families ability to meet their child's healthcare needs. Ensure the preparation and maintenance of required documentation per accreditation standards and CMC's policy. This job is an hourly version of exempt role 2054; typically used for part-time or PRN assignments. Responsibilities: * Perform biopsychosocial screening and assessment of the families ability to meet their children's healthcare needs by applying specialized knowledge and advance practice skills in assessment treatment, diagnosis of mental illness, planning, implementation and evaluation. * Facilitate parent/child adjustment to illness and hospitalization. * Coordinate anticipatory discharge to ensure that patient's home - care is prearranged prior to leaving the hospital. * Coordinate and direct multidisciplinary patient care conferences focusing both on medical and biopsychosocial needs.
