CONTEXT STATEMENT

NT Health provides integrated allied health services in a variety of service settings including acute and sub-acute care, primary
health care, aged care and mental health. Currently seeking applicants in the following areas: Social Work with experience
supporting recovery from family, domestic and sexual violence including sexual abuse. This position will require the applicant to
work within an extended hours service model, which may include weekends and after hours.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide timely, clinically and culturally appropriate Social Work services under minimal supervision within a multidisciplinary
    framework.
  2. Provide feedback to senior staff and management on program and clinical issues.
  3. Provide clinical/professional supervision and/or support to students and relevant staff
  4. Prioritise and manage a caseload within a dynamic and evolving work environment to ensure timelines and health outcomes
    are met.
  5. Co-ordinate and/or contribute to continuous quality improvement and service development activities at a local or regional
    level to ensure delivery of contemporary Social Work services.
  6. Contribute to the achievement of work unit goals and key performance indicators.
  7. Follow defined service quality standards, work health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken
    in order to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces.
  8. Foster a positive workplace culture through exemplary leadership practices and role modelling behaviour.
