Shifts may also be offered in the Emergency Department and the Intensive Care Unit as needed/appropriate. Under general supervision from the Allied Health Assistant Manager and support from the Clinical Practice Leader, this Social Worker II position is primarily responsible to providing direct patient care responsible for the psychosocial assessment and treatment of patients referred to this service as well as development, implementation and evaluation of individual treatment programs according to professional practice standards. The caseload for all positions within the Allied Health department may be subject to change based on operational considerations.
