This full-time school social worker position supports K-12 students across a dynamic school setting in Dearborn, MI. This onsite role offers a contract for the entire school year (NSY) and requires a Michigan School Social Worker (SSW) license to ensure compliance with state standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide social work services to students, including assessment, counseling, and crisis intervention
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and community resources to address students social, emotional, and behavioral needs
• Develop individualized plans to support student well-being and academic success
• Maintain confidential records and documentation in accordance with school policies and state regulations
• Participate in school-wide initiatives to promote a positive and inclusive learning environment

Qualifications:

• Valid MI School Social Worker (SSW) license required
• Experience working with K-12 student populations preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, families, and staff
• Ability to manage a flexible caseload and adapt to varied student needs throughout the school year
