A temporary opportunity is available for a skilled School Social Worker to support a K-12 school in Des Plaines, IL. This contract position is ideal for professionals experienced in providing social work services within educational settings, particularly during leave coverage periods.
Responsibilities include conducting assessments of students social and emotional needs, collaborating with school staff and families to develop intervention plans, and facilitating access to community resources. The role focuses on promoting students well-being, improving attendance, and addressing behavioral challenges through direct counseling and support. Maintaining detailed case records and participating in multidisciplinary team meetings are key components of this position.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Licensed Social Worker credential with experience in school social work settings
• Knowledge of K-12 student development and the ability to address diverse student needs
