(EOE)     BENEFITS AND PERKS * $1,000 Sign-on and Retention Bonus * Medical, Dental and Vision after 30-days with up to 85% paid by Employer  * Paid Vacation, Sick and Personal Time * Tuition Reimbursement Life Insurance  * Pension Plan and Voluntary 403b Plan * Employee Loan Program * Opportunity to Accrue Clinical Hours * Staff Development and Promotional Opportunities SUMMARY OF POSITION The Social Worker is responsible for assessing the psychosocial functioning, coordinating mental health and substance abuse treatment, connection to wellness services, crisis intervention and maintaining a caseload of high-risk families living in a families with children homeless shelter.   The employee will meet individually and in groups with clients to assist them in developing and implementing a treatment plan, identifying problems, strengths, weaknesses, coping skills and providing assistance as needed.  Group and individual clinical and task supervision are provided.   EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must have a master's degree in social work from a school of social work fully accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE).   LMSW Required within 6 months of hire. Clinical hours available after obtaining social work license.  Fluency in Spanish is highly desirable. 
Responsibilities
The Social Worker assesses psychosocial functioning and coordinates mental health and substance abuse treatment for high-risk families in a homeless shelter. They develop and implement treatment plans through individual and group sessions to improve client coping skills.
