The social worker assesses children, infants and their families, creates intervention plans, provides therapy to individuals, families and through parent groups provides consultation to other agencies involved with family members, and refers clients to other appropriate services. Periodically, the social worker also assists with program planning and may participate in interagency committee work, community development, and/or clinical supervision of practicum students.
