      Overview: Family Centers Inc., School Based Health Centers (SBHC) Program is looking for a licensed mental health practitioner (LPC, LMFT or LCSW) with experience to staff a school-based outpatient clinic in lower Fairfield County, CT. This is a 10-month position and is based on the approved public-school calendar. SBHC mental health clinicians provide health education (both large and small group instruction), individual, family, and group counseling to students in a middle and high school and work as part of an interdisciplinary health care team with a nurse practitioner and health educator.   Requirements: Qualified candidates will have successfully completed a master’s or post-master’s degree from an accredited counseling program (LPC, MFT or MSW) and ideally have experience in the field and already possess a current active license to practice as a masters level clinician in the State of Connecticut.  Bilingual/bi-cultural candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.     About Family Centers: Family Centers is a private, nonprofit organization offering health, education and human service program to children, adults and families in Fairfield County.
