Responsibilities

Are you ready to play a key role in safeguarding children and young people?
As a Social Worker in the Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH), you will be at the centre of a fast-paced team, assessing contacts and referrals for children aged 018. This is a unique opportunity to make a real difference by ensuring timely, effective interventions that protect and support children and families.
In this dynamic role, you will work closely with partner agencies to gather, interpret and share information, always with due regard for consent and confidentiality. Your professional judgment will help inform risk assessments, shape decision-making, and provide challenge where needed to ensure the best outcomes for children and young people.
You’ll also contribute to identifying service gaps, escalating concerns where appropriate, and occasionally support with a small caseload in the initial response team. With every decision, you will help safeguard children’s welfare while supporting the wider aim of improving services and pathways.
With children at the heart of everything you do, this is your opportunity to make a lasting difference in a collaborative, supportive environment!
