We are seeking a compassionate, motivated, and resident-centered Social Worker to join our interdisciplinary team in a part-time capacity, supporting individuals in our sheltered care and assisted living levels of care. This role is ideal for a professional who is not only clinically grounded, but also genuinely energized by working with older adults and enhancing quality of life in a supportive community setting. The Social Worker plays a pivotal role in assessing resident needs, facilitating care planning, providing psychosocial support, and advocating for resident rights and preferences. This position works collaboratively with residents, families, and the care team to promote autonomy, dignity, and meaningful engagement, while navigating transitions, adjustment, and ongoing life changes. Schedule: Part-Time | Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday | 9am - 4pm Pay Rate: $25hr Responsibilities: Conduct psychosocial assessments and ongoing evaluations Support care planning and interdisciplinary collaboration Provide counseling, emotional support, and adjustment guidance Facilitate communication with residents and families Advocate for resident rights, preferences, and quality of life Assist with transitions of care Support a positive, respectful, and engaging community environment Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Social Work (BSW) Experience in long-term care, assisted living, or geriatric settings preferred Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills Commitment to person-centered, strengths-based care
