Egypt Education Platform is urgently seeking a skilled Social Worker for the Secondary Stage to join our team at Madinaty Integrated Language School. The ideal candidate will be a passionate and proactive professional dedicated to enhancing the well-being and academic success of our secondary students. Key Responsibilities: Provide support through individual and group counseling to secondary students experiencing emotional, social, or behavioral challenges. Conduct thorough assessments and develop intervention strategies tailored to students’ specific needs. Collaborate with educational staff to promote a positive school climate and address any student-related issues. Engage in regular communication with parents and guardians to foster a supportive home environment. Work closely with external organizations and services to connect students with additional resources and support. Lead workshops and training sessions for faculty on best practices for supporting adolescent mental health and well-being. Keep detailed case notes and documentation, ensuring adherence to school confidentiality policies and standards. Actively participate in meetings and contribute to the ongoing development of school policies aimed at enhancing student welfare. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field. Proven experience (preferably 3+ years) working with secondary students and their families. Strong grasp of adolescent development, mental health challenges, and available community resources. Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse populations and implement inclusive practices. Relevant certification or licensure in social work is preferred.
