The London Borough of Islington is currently seeking experienced and committed Qualified Social Workers to join its high-performing Children’s Services teams. Opportunities are available within:

• Children in Need (CIN) and Child Protection (CP)
• Permanency and Kinship

REQUIREMENTS:

• Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration
• Proven experience in CIN, CP, or Permanency/Kinship teams
• Strong assessment, communication, and organisational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a statutory setting

• Manage a caseload in accordance with statutory responsibilities and local policies
• Undertake timely assessments and develop robust care plans
• Work in partnership with families, carers, and multi-agency professionals
• Prepare and present reports for child protection conferences and legal proceedings
• Promote permanency planning and safeguarding practices
