We have an exciting position for a 9-month fixed term contract to work with people to improve outcomes for adults experiencing disadvantage – including combinations of substance misuse and possible neglect of self-care and we would welcome a passionate and dedicated individual to join our Adult Social Work Team.
We are looking for a social worker who has a passion for working with a multi-disciplinary approach across, mental health, adult services, drug and alcohol treatment services, primary health services and criminal justice services and to undertake joint home visits with these partner agencies. This Fixed Term Contract may be ideal for somebody who is considering a new experience .
The role will also include completing assessments and and reviews in line with all legislative and policy guidance and requirements and to liaise with all relevant multi-disciplinary teams, agencies, individuals and other statutory, voluntary and private organizations, in the pursuit of safeguarding vulnerable and at-risk service users.

You will have excellent interpersonal skills to enable you to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team

  • Deliver a high standard of evidence based interventions and have responsibility of own caseload
  • Be highly motivated, focused, with good attention to detail·
  • Advocate for people to receive the right support, in the right place and at the right time
