Working hours: 20 hours per week, Monday-Friday, with flexibility to cover hours outside of this as the need arises within the service.

Offering a broad range of services and supports delivered through trauma-informed and relational-based approaches and interventions, we strengthen families, support parents and safeguard children. We strive to provide safe, supportive and reparative spaces and opportunities for families to share their feelings and concerns, explore difficulties, worries and challenges, and reflect upon life events, dynamics and relationships.
We are currently looking for an experienced Social Worker, an exciting opportunity to work creatively with children and families within both our residential and day assessment services. If you are passionate about family work and are committed to ensuring children, parents and families are provided with the right support, in the right way, at the right time to deal with the challenges they may be facing, then we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

You will work collaboratively within the team to assist with day to day operations within this specialist regulated service. As a qualified social worker, you will take on a key role in the provision of safe, supportive, enabling and nurturing environments, whilst undertaking assessments, and providing targeted supports and interventions to improve family relationships, develop parental skills and knowledge, and enhance parental insight.
The successful applicant will be part of the leadership team, hold line management responsibilities, and be part of the on call rota.
