Rigid Tactical is seeking a high-caliber J2 Intelligence Exercise Support Specialist to join our team in delivering elite-level training support to the SOF community. As a retired veteran or seasoned professional within the SOF enterprise, you understand that the success of a Command Post Exercise (CPX) or Full Mission Profile (FMP) hinges on the realism of the intelligence injects and the depth of the Higher Headquarters (HHQ) replication. In this role, you will be the architect of the "Ground Truth," responsible for developing complex scenario target networks and facilitating the Ops/Intel fusion necessary to challenge the nation's premier Special Operations units. We are looking for a subject matter expert who can pivot seamlessly between technical scripting and high-level mentorship, ensuring that every training objective—from ISR asset replication to the F3EAD targeting cycle—is executed with the precision these units demand. Location: San Diego CA / Virginia Beach, VA Clearance: TS / CI Poly Exercise Dates:TBD Qualifications/ Requirements Minimum of 3 years of recent experience (within the last 5 years) supporting fleet operations, with a strong preference for the CENTCOM or INDOPACOM Areas of Responsibility. 10–15 years in the Intelligence Community (IC) or Special Operations. Bachelors degree in Strategic Intelligence, International Relations, National Security Studies, or Management/Project Management. Previous NSW experience within the last three years is considered essential for this role. Deep familiarity with SOF operational employment, Concept of Operations (CONOP) development, and the Ops/Intel fusion process. Advanced working knowledge of the F3EAD (Find, Fix, Finish, Exploit, Analyze, Disseminate) targeting cycle. Primary Duties & Responsibilities Provide expert inputs to the operational documents and exercise task organization. Support the full mission profile (FMP) and command post exercises (CPX) to integrate training objectives for key stakeholders, Develop and refine the baseline ground truth scenario documents, scenario target networks, and intelligence products. Produce notional Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) reporting, role player instructions/scripts, and Sensitive Site Exploitation (SSE) exercise products. Support HHQ/Adjacent HQ Battle Staff replication. Act as a role player for TSOC/CJSOTF/JECG J2 Staff, Collection Managers, ISR asset controllers, and Intelligence Community (IC) representatives. Provide informal mentorship, feedback sessions, and round-table discussions with the training audience. Deliver academic training in specialized areas such as Targeting, Collections, and All-Source Intelligence Analysis.
